Celebration

After an excellent dinner in the Hotel King Minos (we stuffed us the mouth full with greek specialities) we celebrated this day with Kosta, Kristina and the other staff .
Then we threw us on the ear.

Coming home

Pünktlich "zu Hause" in Tolon mit traumhaftem Blick über die Bucht. 26 Grad, kaum Wolken. Anthi, die hübscheste Lady an der Rezeption weltweit, half uns beim Einchecken. The Familie Georgidakis begrüßte uns mit Freude und Retsina.

4th Day

Now we have a rich earlypeace to strong us  for the run in the stadium of Olympia. We are a little bit cattlehollow, because we celebrated ourselves tooooo long!

Today

During the night we hat little problems, Thunderstorms, and the the Stream was out! Very darkness!  The misti morning was good for naked Photos but Not for monasteries
We had a Lot to Do so we reached Delfi a little bit beefhole, but we saw all important places.
In Itea the same as 2 years ago: Very strange cuisine!

Delfi

Rechtzeitig erreichten wir Delfi ein Traum für Fotografen und Historiker

3. TAG

Schon zu unmenschlichen Zeiten brachen wir auf zum Besuch der Klöster. Leider schlechtes Fotolicht, gerade noch brauchbar für Sponsoraufnahmen.

2. TAG

Unterwegs seit 0500. Zuerst Besichtigung des Leonidas Denkmals, dann durch Thessalien zur grandiosen Vikos Schlucht. Wanderung auf schmalem ungesichertem Felsenband zur Eremitage, daneben geht's mehr als tausend Meter lotrecht in die Tiefe. Manche kriechen auf allen Vieren den Steig entlang, wohl daher der Name "Kriechenland"! Nach dieser Klettertour und rund 500 schwierigen Kilometern sind wir jetzt echt geschafft.

Day 2.

We drove to Kalambaka early in the morning. We checked in in the Hotel Kosta Famissi.
My friend in Tolo had this booked. Is ok. Thank you, Kosta!
Then we drove to the Vikos Gorge, fabolous! But the streets were skycrying! Curverich and very narrow! We marched through the gorge and then we went back to Kalambaka. Afterwards we went eating (Retsina) and now we are in the beds - deathtired.

Pünktlicher Abflug in Wien, hervorragendes Bord Menü der AUA (Schnitzel!) , Auto von Hertz übernommen,  VW Caravelle. Rasch geht es nach Norden,  die Autobahn ist gesäumt von herrlichem Oleander und Ginster. In Kamena Vourla herzlicher Empfang im Hotel Violetta. Brauchen jetzt dringend was zu essen und trinken.  Karli testet das Meer,  22 Grad, LuftTemperatur 29 Grad um 1950 Uhr, wolkig
Jetzt zum Abendessen.

Outfit

Yesterday Charly and I bought a new outfit for the 5-hours-climbing-walking through the Vikos Gorge on day 2. Also some presents for the onebornes, such as glass-pearls, marble writers a.o.
Day two (May, 28th) will become a very heavy one - but our preparations will help us to come through!

Final Session

Now we had our final session, all preparations are ready (I hope so).
But it rode us the devil - and we added a new destination  - on one of only two quiet-days: 400 km to go - to see a wonderful bay on the Westcoast of the Peloponnes! We'll see.
With this new destination we have to lay back about 7000 km (3500 with the flyer) - brainburned!
