Tag 2

We awoke and held the breath on, 30 degrees but no sun. First we visited Leonidas, then the bay of Volos. Terrible light, deep hanging clouds!
No parking place! We shaked the dust from our feet and drove to Kalambaka.

At one pm we reached Kalambaka, very disappointed, because the light was terrible, we waited till the late afternoon, then we drove up to the monasteries. We visited the BIG MONASTERY, Varlaam and Rousanou. We climbed up about 1500 steps! And also down! 

In the meantime the light was a little bit better, so I shot a lot of pictures.

We returned to Kalambaka at 7pm, very hungry and dehydrated.
